• Renewable Energy (Solar electric and Windmill water pumps) for Drip Irrigation of horticultural Crops as Income Generating Activity in Mwanza (WISIONS.net – Wuppertal, Germany)
• Promotion of community involvement in protecting the environment of the surrounding area and the waters of Lake Victoria (Nile Basin Initiative, UNDP)

Pending projects:

• Reducing the Vulnerability of Tanzania’s Energy Sector to the Impact of Climate Change.
• Decentralised water supply in rural Africa on the basis of the development of reliable, affordable, environment-friendly small scale wind energy driven water pumping and purification systems.
  -- Collaborative Project (Small/medium-scale focused research project) --
  This project, which would be implemented by a Consortium of European and African participants intends also among other things to solve the problem of lack of irrigation infrastructure by developing low cost renewable energy based water pumping systems.
• Nyashimo Irrigation Scheme by constructing a dam
